SEO nerd turning searches into customers
SEO work
A couple of graphs, because who doesn't like graphs and a couple of other details about my sites and other sites I worked on.
The Sex Shed
My second SEO project served as a natural extension of the blog and aligned with our mission to offer great products and great information to like-minded people.
We've been nominated for Online Boutique Store of the Year.
While I’m responsible for SEO, the store itself is a collaborative effort involving several people.

Here are some of the SEO actions I'm most proud of:

Increased organic revenue by 21%, visits by 35.3%, and impressions by 28.7% in 6 months through optimizing category pages, product pages, and improving internal linking.
Developed and executed a content strategy collaborating driving 150K visitors and 328K page views in 12 months
Obtained a $0 do-follow link from Cosmopolitan by building strong industry relationships
Significantly improved Core Web Vitals by optimizing site speed, reducing JavaScript, minimizing CSS, and simplified page design
Created an e-commerce scavenger hunt to boost engagement, brand mentions, and searches across Reddit, YouTube, and Google

The (growth) graph I promised:

Spices of Lust
My first SEO project started as a small blog and website, where I had no idea what I was doing.
Over time, it evolved into a successful site that attracts significant traffic, generating income through paid reviews, sponsored partnerships, affiliate sales, and digital sales of our own products.

Notable SEO moves:

Generated over $35K in digital product sales through traffic driven to the website
Created and executed a content strategy that drew 377K visitors and led to 782K page views in the past 12 months, with 291K visitors sourced directly from Google
Leveraged organic visits to grow the newsletter to 9K+ subscribers, achieving a 40% open rate and a 7% click rate
Recognized multiple times as a Top 100 Blogs in the space which has contributed to increased rankings through brand mentions and high-quality links

Another growth graph:

Alons Halal Grill
A tasty side project I’ve been really enjoying.
This is a brand-new website and Google Business Profile I created and optimized for a friend who recently started this venture. Alongside the website and SEO stuff, I also took some drool-worthy food photos.
While the project is still in its early stages, some delicious numbers are already starting to show.

Mention-worthy actions:

Drove 634 search visits in the first month, achieving a 12.8% conversion rate on the "Order Food" link
Ranked the business website in the top 3 positions for high-intent local keywords within a 20-mile radius
Built 60+ local citations using Semrush
Continuously optimized GBP by integrating relevant keywords, and managing Q&A, reviews, and Google posts resulting in improved visibility and increased customer interactions
